I'm so sleepy. Thanks to Corporate Finance I only had four hours of sleep last night and I'm wide awake until now. Still need to study for Thursday. T_T
Anyway, here's another video during my birthday last week.
Sorry for the weird Indian slang. Really have no idea why I do that at times. LOL.
Birthday surprise my flatmates and another three friends gave me when the clock hit 0000 hours on 7th September 2010.
I never knew that was coming, seriously. Was so touched!
See how sneaky they were; using the alarm thing to tempt me out of the room. But I thought they were fooling around and when the alarm didn't stop I thought it was MY ROOM'S FIRE ALARM. Sheesh.
They couldn't get any candles but instead made a 'M' on the cake using Kit Kats. Aww..
Here's the girls - Yoke Chin, Hannah, Hui Bin, Me, Chen Ling and Shwen.
The guys - Yan Zhang and Chong were too shy.
Thanks for everything! Especially the lovely chocolate cake. Yummies~
PS: Boyfy's birthday (120910) in Malaysia now , so HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :)
I was so excited to see this church in particular - Saint Mary's Cathedral in Salisbury. It was huge and the exterior designs were so beautiful!
Momma said whenever we enter a church for the first time, we should pray and make a wish and that wish may be fulfilled. So, I thought of entering the church to pray for my ACCA results, which will soon be released next month.
The internet connection is really being a slow bitch right now. Must be due to the multiple quakes these few days. It happened again; the tsunami. Mother Earth is getting angry again 'cuz her eruption five years ago did not seem to sink into the minds of human nature. We are all, one day, gonna die in Her hands. It's just the matter of time. Sighs.
That's just me being very random I know. And I sound so emo as though I'm gonna die anytime. =3
Anyway, today the topic is.. *drum roll* McDonalds!
Do you guys know that I'm hopeless in saying 'no' to McD? I love McD with all my heart. Who can resist their burgers, nuggets and their superb French Fries?? Not forgetting their Sundae Cone and McFlurry!
I cannot.
If you can, you are such an alien. Please kick yourself to Planet Mars thank you very much.
But a few days back, a friend posted this video in Facebook and suddenly I feel damn gross eating McD.
If you wanna continue eating McD then don't watch this video. This video really best - I think I'll probably stop touching McD for the time being.
I'm really curious whether this is actually true and part of me wants to conduct the experiment. But, Mum would probably kill me for housing those "snowy" things and causing the house to stink. Also, getting my hands into the experiment might just kill my appetite for McD forever and ever.
Wassup with the fries man?? Seriously what the heck is it made of?!
It's 0321 hours and I'm wide awake (taking into consideration that I'd slept at 0400 hours the night before and woke up at 0700 hours for my final paper). Such great love I have for the internet.
Saw this last week when my older bro showed it to me. Found it very cool.
How I'd wished I was part of it too.
Or maybe how I'd wished I was at the BEP Arthur's Day concert yesterday night. My 2nd bro was there to party along and had a good night.
Yesterday night, I was browsing through the 15Malaysia website. (You can access the website by clicking on the banner at the right sidebar.)
15Malaysia is a short film project. It consists of 15 short films made by 15 Malaysian filmmakers. These films not only deal with socio-political issues in Malaysia, they also feature some of the best-known faces in the country, including actors, musicians and top political leaders. You may think of them as funky little films made by 15 Malaysian voices for the people of Malaysia.
Here are some of my favourite ones.
Potong Saga.
Damn funny can?
House.
Very heartwarming.. Catch a glimpse of Yasmin Ahmad at the end of the video.
Halal.
Another funny flick.
And last but not least, Chocolate. By Yasmin Ahmad.
I'd always loved Yasmin Ahmad's work.
Anyway, while watching Chocolate, the main character which was the guy caught my attention. His name is Howard Hon Kahoe (not Howard Lee Wei Hoe lol) and I think he is either 17 or 18 this year.
It's been sometime since I'd updated about stuffs recently. =S Had been busy with college and went back once a fortnight these few weeks because Vivien was in town.
Here are some videos taken that night during her housewarming cum 21st birthday party.
Couldn't help putting down the disposable plate aka my source of cool wind for the night. It was so hot we could all die!
And here you see the uncles and aunties doing the Limbo Rock together. They are surely one group of happening people.
It was definitely a night to remember. There were a few who went drunk and puked. And one who went all the way to Taiping instead back to his house in Pasir Pinji. Or Pasir Puteh. Not sure which. Tiring, but I had a blast! Heh.
Yes, yes.. I know. The videos I recorded are super-duper "high" in quality.
After comparing with many videos in Youtube, I'd realised I'm sore loser in every aspect. First, mine had too much shaking, but that I couldn't help it. Second, the images from my camera sucked so much because it was so small, it made tiny Avril even tinier. Third, the sound was horrible as well - it sounded so muffed up like Avril was trying to sing through a cloth tied on her mouth.
And that camera costs RM1200! I'm gonna kill that sales guy.
On the other hand, maybe a camera was meant for taking photographs and not video-recording. I shall buy a handy-cam next time! That's if I have the cash. Bleh.
Since I'm so good-hearted, and I don't want anybody else to start complaining that they'd puked their whatever meal out or even suffer from excessive screaming of mine ringing in their head, I will post videos of others. Big, clear and loud. Okay?
This is Avril and her pink Grand Piano singing When You're Gone.
It was definitely The Best Damn Thing!
Damn, how I'd wished Evan Taubenfield was there as well! Like in her The Best Damn Thing video. He's so hot! =D
Earlier, I said that I would post videos from Avril's concert. Here you go.
She sang a lot of songs and I recorded every single piece although not the full song, except for one which I had accidentally deleted and am still cursing myself for being stupid. Anyhow, I won't post all of 'em in here because I think most of you would suffer from headache and nausea after watching them all.
Disclaimer: Please watch at your own risk. If you are currently suffering from any headache, do not watch the following. I repeat, DO NOT.
First up - Girlfriend!
Thanks to another Avril fan, I got this video in which I said that I deleted it.
So cute!
I'm having difficulties uploading the video of When You're Gone unto Youtube. Irritating. Will do it another day.
The son asked his father, "Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?"
Despite having a heart condition, the father says, "Yes". They went on to complete the marathon together. Father and son went to join other marathons, the father always saying "Yes" to his son's request of going through the race together.
One day, the son asked his father, "Dad, let's join the Ironman together." To which, his father said, "Yes" too. Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever. The race encompasses three endurance events of a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometers) ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometers) bike ride and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometers) marathon along the coast of the Big Island, Hawaii.
Father and son went on to complete the race together.
Let me share with you a very touching and wonderful clip about a father and son relationship, with God's love.
Time to get some tissue papers ready.
Just look at how happy the son was when it was coming to the end of the race. And the father should get more than a round of applause for what he has done.
Today, for the first time of the semester, I skipped lecture. Particularly there was nothing much because the lecture hall was overcrowded with students until some of them have to sit on the floor. Hopefully when the class lists are out today, it wouldn't be so packed next week onwards.
I attended the Honda Safety Driving Course with my brother in Asia Pacific Auction Centre, Subang today. The day started at 7.30am until 5.30pm; it was tiring but a fun-filled day. The location was filled with all types of Honda cars like some cockcroach fest feeding on dead stuffs. I cannot possibly take a shot of all cars because there were 16 cars altogether comprising of Jazz, City, Civic and Accord.
Tengok buntut kereta pun sudah syok.
I finally got to drive my favourite car, Honda Jazz. And also Honda Civic 2.0. I felt so yeng driving those cars as though I'm some rich ass who thinks that money grow on trees. Muahaha.
Being someone who is not familiar behind the steering wheel, even after two years getting my license, I was horrified when I saw the first exercise - manouvering the car in a zig-zag motion. Lucky thing didn't memalukan myself by knocking the cones.
Next one nearly got me fainted. Speeding up till 50kmph and then slamming on the emergency brakes on both wet and dry surface. After that was worse! Driving the same mileage and still slamming on the brakes but this time on a piece of plastic sheet with plenty of soap water on top of the sheet. I seriously thought I was going to die. Honda cars are all equipped with ABS so lucky thing the car would just produce some super scary sound and then just stop.
Without the ABS, watch this.
Scary you know!!!! And all the participants were required to do it! I totally went omgwtf. Asking me to drift? Although it's not the usual lai yat lai sau jai, piau yat piau but still!
However, after attempting twice, it was really syokalism! Turning 180 degrees! You really wanna try it over and over again. At least I get to speed and "drift", abuse a car which is super cool and is not mine, and still stay alive after that!
This guy is the head driving instructor. He was asking me theorical questions from the start of the day and teasing me about how my facial expression changes whenever I hit the brakes. He also gave me a final advice which is not to close my eyes when I slam on the brakes. I really couldn't help it but I thought I was going to die so I just close my eyes lar!
After more exercises of skidding, the day ended. We were allowed to test drive certain new models of Honda cars and I find this quite attractive - don't know what model but it certainly looks like it can go vroom vroommmmm.
Received a goodie bag with quite lots of stuffs in it and the Honda Management said that pictures will be sent in a few weeks time. Yeah, they had professional photographers snapping cool photographs of us while performing those "stunts". I can't wait to see how cool was I. Nyahahaha.
Spent 18 years in the city of Ipoh before moving on to KL to continue her studies. Occassionally gets homesick and will make it a point to return back to HomeSweetHome. Still ponders upon her life and hopes to live life to its fullest with no regrets.
Wants to make her once-in-a-lifetime experience in the United Kingdom a truly memorable one.
