Updates: April

Pardon me, I haven't been updating in a while.

Blame the exams. :P Still have one more to go on Friday!

Recent updates:

i) Rok Chin's 22nd birthday bbq party.

Have I gone fatter thinner taller shorter?

And this is why my digital camera totally lost out!

ii) Went to the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in KLCC with Mother J & Father D dearest.

I'd always thought that this genre of music would make me fall asleep. But I was totally wrong!

Damn.. it was awesome!

Managed to get this before I realized the flash went off and caught the guard staring furiously at me. :/

The best part was, I wasn't seated at the normal seats. Jeng jeng jeng! I was on the third level on those mini balconies.

Felt like a royalty. Fuh!

Then hor, each mini balcony is connected to a special room suite where we can sit, talk, drink tea and nom!

And each room has a personal butler! Or what I thought was a butler. Heh.

Cute!

But not too yummy.

Really had loads of fun identifying each music instrument. I should really get on started again with my piano to get lean, toned arms. :D

That's about it. Can never expect too much fun during exam period.

10 Years On

During Chinese New Year, I had a chance to meet up with someone who had quite an impact over me when I was in Year 6. The last I saw her was three years back or so.

I vividly remember all the kids would run in the school along with this person, trying to catch her attention and also wanting to get her autobiography.

No, she wasn't a celebrity but I guess in the hearts of many, she was. The arrival of two young trainee teachers brought much joy and liveliness to the dead SK Marian Convent Ipoh.

This particular teacher that I'm talking about is one who is passionate about music. She would relate everything to music and even teach us how to play I Want It That Way by The Backstreet Boys on the recorder. Like, how often do you get teachers teaching you the hip and latest song? All we usually get are teachers who go along with the plain old syllabus. *Yawns*

She lives by her motto, which is: The key to success, is so stay calm above, but paddle like mad underneath.

I never knew I was living on the motto until a few days back, when my lecturer asked me how my preparation for the finals are and stated I always looked so calm.

(Neither did she know I was freaking out like a mad woman inside)

Presenting..

Miss Ng!

Man.. she does look younger than me :S

This was back in December 2007.

And this was in December 2006.

My dear Miss Ng is getting younger by the years.

Guess how old is she. Lol.

After 10 years, we are still in touch. This clearly shows the power of friendship.

Wait.

Or maybe it's the power of Friendster, MSN and also Facebook.
