744 Hours, 44,640 Minutes, 2,678,400 Seconds

Today marks one month since he left. Only a month.

How come the passing of days are so pathetic? Rawr.

Hahahaha. He looks so cute.

I can look cute too.

Okayyy. That was absolutely utmostly random.

I'm being so random today. Just take a look at the post's title. I actually took my calculator and did some multiplication. -_-

And three more days till it's the end of the month. No more work. Happyyy!

Serenity

Last Monday, followed my parents to one of their friend's house for lunch. The uncle's house was like a mini zoo and a mini garden. He had tons of fishes, be it Japanese Carp Kois or Arowanas, one of them which is blind which feeds on big fat worms which feed on carrots and cereal. Do you get me?

The fish pond

He also had dogs!

This is a Jack Russel. You know, like the dog Milo from The Mask. I couldn't take a picture of it because Chester keeps running around. Very cute and obedient.

This is how a Golden Retriever looks like. He is a very huge dog and had a powerful loud bark. Read me, had. In order not to disturb the neighbours, the owner devoiced him. Poor thing.

Lastly, a Rottweiler. I swear it is the scariest dog on earth. This is just a picture I took from the Net. Looks cute on this picture but the real dog I saw was big and ferocious. It was barking so loud through the fence I thought it was gonna jump above the fence and attack me or something.

The uncle also grow plants like chillies, dragon fruits, orchids, petais.. I couldn't remember what else. This is one of my best macro shots of I-dunno-what-flower.

Feels so good being in that house.

Back To School Once More

It had been four years since I left high school. Four years since I left my guidinghood.

But you know they say : Once a guide, always a guide. In my case, it definitely applies. I may have left school and girl guides/rangers, but the memories never left me.

Was back in school yesterday for what they call the four-years-once gathering by SMC. But this time, it was pure effort by the 4th Unit Rangers alone. Due to some circumstances, 7th and 8th Ipoh Company did not participate in the organisation of this year's gathering.

The theme was "The Revolving Realm". Don't ask me what does it mean.

Ahh, reminds me so much about "The Fortress Of Crystal".

Err.. Please ignore my face.

I couldn't help being an early bird in school though I went to bed at like 2 am. Managed to catch up with the marching competition participated by AMC, SMI, Poi Lam Scouts and ACS.

As time passed, I was too lazy to take my camera out to take pictures of the last two marching teams.

Later was joined by Mei Yann and Amy, and we went to Starbucks for breakfast. Evon came after that.

The weather was so killing that I was sticky as glue by the time we went back to school. Wondered around school with nowhere to go. In the end we entered the hall to find that the air-con was on. -_-

That is the Overall Champion trophy. Crazy 8-feet high.

Mr. Handphone Guy blocked my nice view of the picture.

There were so many people in the hall (but still not as many compared to 2005 =D), until my camera also cannot take the amount of CO2 in the hall. You can see tiny spots on the pictures. The hall was stuffy and smelt of sweat, if you went out and came into the hall again you have to take a deep breath to avoid yourself from fainting. When the lights were off, it practically turned into a errr.. disco with flashing lights and some unmatching disco lights.. which in short can be said a seafood nest - if you get what I meant. Also, it was pitch black and like I said due to the excessive amount of C02 there were mist in the hall wtf and I nearly bumped into the pillar 'cuz I couldn't see. Looks like the air-con wasn't much of a help.

I forgot which school was this scarf from but it goes something like a scout goes to a camp, and met a girl guide and they got married and then had a baby (which according to one of the judges look like a pebble drawn on the scarf). -_-

SMI with their two-layer banner. Hah, look where the idea of it came from.

AMC's banner.

49th Kinta Scouts. Nice banner but all I see is evil.
=S

There were two "new" competitions which differs from the usual ones which were the Advertising Competition and also the Singing Competition. I have to compliment the 02 Kinta Scouts for their very persuasive advertising of the Barbie Doll. Also, to the AMC guides for their hard effort in composing a song and their lovely voice for the Singing Competition. It was a very touching song but sad to say I did not record their performance.

Anyway, after all the hoo-haa was the time to give out the awards.

I took all winners' pictures but since nobody posed for my camera most of 'em turned out to be blur. Blah.

I hope I got the winners right.

Best Marching - Poi Lam Scouts
Best Commander - SMI, AMC
Best Cooking - SMI
Best Sketch - ACS
Best Dance - AMC
Best Singing - AMC
Best Advertisement - SMI
Best Scarf Design - AMC
Best Banner Design - SMI
Iron Guide - AMC
Iron Scout - SMI
Signature Hunt - SMI
Most Supportive - Er, I still can't get the school's name right. I think it's Shan Yang or something like that.
Most Disciplined - AMC

And the Overall Champion went to..

02 Kinta Scouts. Again.

They stole my 8-feet trophy away from me =(

You see, the trophy may seem oh-so-almighty or even omg-it's-so-tall but it can be a hassle.

If you ain't careful enough you might just break it.

Anyhow, I guess it wasn't much of a problem because the boyfriend's brother looked superbly happy. But I mean, who wouldn't be happy right?

Though there was some poor time management, but all's well, ends well. That one day made me reminiscent about my yesteryears which only seemed to be yesterday. I miss school very much indeed.

Which Would You Pick?

Today, one of my seniors at work gave me a test, verbally.

He asked:

Imagine you are entering a jungle, with trees at both sides. As you walk, there is a wooden house in front of you.

When you enter the house, there is a table.

On the table, there are five types of different fruits.

I feel like eating all of them already. Looks so yummy.

Back to the question.

Which would you pick?

After some thinking, I picked the watermelon.

I shall not reveal the answer yet.

When I came back from work, I had the usual MSN session with the boyfriend. So, out of nowhere I decided to ask him the same thing that I was asked earlier today.

Since we were on the webcam, I could see his reaction towards my question. He definitely was thinking very hard to come up with the answer; but very quickly provided an answer.

"Watermelon gua. The rest also don't really eat. So what's the conclusion? I know there's some meaning one."

Ironically, we picked the same fruit.

Anyway, what's the conclusion, you wonder?

We'd both picked watermelon. So the conclusion is.. we both are persons who like to eat watermelon.

So if you'd picked banana, the conclusion is: you like to eat banana.

HAHAHAHAHA.

Lame, I know. But it made my day. I'd done some really hard laughing with him today. =D

Loves.

Self Explanatory

It has been some time since I've updated my blog. Firstly, I haven't had the time to do so due to work schedule. Secondly, my mind has been blank for the past week or so, thus no inspiration to write.

Anyway, today is picture time! It has been a week since he left for Aussie and two weeks since the photos were taken during what he calls his so-called-farewell-party. I'm not even sure whether to define it as a party because all there were was only drinking, dancing, some screaming, a scary guy and a whole lot of other people.

Date: 21st March 2009, Saturday.
Venue: Coco Banana, Sunway.

Crazy things that they do when there is excessive alcohol

HoiWee looks jealous

Probably can't wait for his turn

I can't stop laughing each time I see this photo

God knows what was he doing with WeiHoe's hands

I swear something was wrong with Panda that night

The outcast again

This post has got the least photos of myself in it. My vain-ness has died down for a moment. But it will revive soon! =D

****

I need to get a new phone soon. Using my Nokia is killing me. Not all contacts are in it so when people calls or SMS I don't know who. I need SonyEricsson! Argh.
