Thengy

This time around, I didn't spend as much time as I'd wanted with Thengy.

Firstly, her duration back here was totally short - only a month - because she had to work before she was back and then head back to Perth earlier for some matters.

Secondly, our timing was totally out. The first weekend she was back, I went to Genting. Came back the second weekend to meet her up. Third weekend I had to stay back in KL to study for my midterm tests. Fourth weekend, I came back but she was in KL fol. Finally got to meet her yesterday. Phew. Sometimes timing is really so important it can be so frustrating when it doesn't go the way you want it to go.

Headed to JJ to do some shopping for both her and I yesterday. I love shopping with her; she helps when I pick my stuffs and I help when she picks her stuff. (But I think she helped me more than I helped her yesterday - at least I didn't have to crack my head so hard to think what to get for the bf.)

Outings with Thengy always have to involve food.

Today was another outing again, this time with MeiYann and Maple.

They watched me eat my fav tom yum in Black Canyon and I watched them eat toasts in Food and Tea. -______-

This is one stupid peanut butter thick toast. Damn jai.

Continued with karaoke. Screamed our lungs out like mad people.

Took my camera out to take a pic. Then the battery was gonna die so I told Thengy we should camwhore kao kao until the battery dies lol! Warn you first that there are some many syok sendiri pics ahead.

Seconds just before my camera died.

Thengy will be leaving a day after tomorrow. Won't be able to see her during CNY this year. Sad. No angpao from her mama.


I was kidding. Sheesh. It'll be 10 months later when I see her once more. T.T

I'm gonna miss her.

One Small Candle

Bi and I celebrated our first anniversary just a few hours ago.

11 months ago, I posted about us going through one month filled with lots of laughter. 11 months later, we still have our fair share of laughter (well, not forgetting the times of disagreements ;p). It's really scary to know that a year passed in a blink of an eye.

Woke up today (or yesterday since it's already past 12am but my theory is, as long as I'm still awake it's still today), lunch in Old Town Kopitiam with the boyfriend, Chin Yap and Bernard. Went for Tiger Woohoo which was a good movie - funny but at the same time moved me to tears. Went home and later on, church in the evening and then dinner with bi!

He asked me to decide whether to turn left or right at the junction so I picked left, which he said led to Josephine. If I picked right, we would have gone to Italia Mia which had food costing double the price of Josephine's. So I said I picked the right choice 'cuz I helped him to save money (I'm an accountant and accountants are kiamsap lol).


The place was nice, cosy and I like the pillows they had on the sofa; made it feel very at home.

Our starter, Wild Mushroom Soup @ RM15.

Doesn't look too appetizing in here; may be due to two reasons:
i) Bi's hand was itchy, he took a sip even before I took a picture.
ii) I'M SO USED TO LOOKING AT DLSRs PHOTO QUALITY IT MAKES ME FEEL DIGITAL CAMERAS TAKE REALLY BAD PICTURES lol.

Soup was good! Yum yum.
Could be better with a few dashes of pepper but he said, "No, must taste the original flavour" wor.

Nice!
Grilled chicken with a twist oriental flavour and BBQ sauce.

I wanted to add chilli sauce but he said NO again. Ish.

His Peri-peri Lamb @ RM42.

Not too bad. Could be better if the meat was marinated longer. Would even be better if a little more spicier.




Lesson learnt: Can camwhore even in a high class place, provided you're pro enough.

Our dessert, Tiramisu @ RM12.

Was a little hard 'cuz the sponge fingers weren't soaked up well with the coffee mixture. The fingers and cream were not well-balanced quantity-wise. If not mistaken, no rum in it too.

Tiramisu is my fav I love to nom it so much so I can criticise a lot.

It didn't taste THAT bad, it was okay and edible but just that I can make better Tiramisu hohoho.

It was us-time during dinner, talking and crapping about lotsa stuffs.

Cameron Highlands: #1

Haven't got a chance to update about Genting so I'll feed you guys a little about the Camerons trip just last weekend. Yet to get all the pictures; will update again when I get them.

The trip was planned while we were still in Genting. Beat that. Genting trip belum main habis already talk about another trip. Faints.

Spent one night there but all of us were dead tired on day 2.

I vowed not to make my digital camera useless this time but guess what? It only contained 29 miserable pictures! -___- DSLRs are taking a toll over my camera. Hmph.

It was a short, but definitely a very enjoyable trip! It's not that you get to take time off and relax on the highlands all the time with the company of crazy friends, right? The fatigue was all worth it. LOL.
