Minor Updates

Haven't been blogging in a while now. Three months to be exact. Which explains all the spams in my chatbox. -_-

Which also made me think if there's anyone out there still reading my blog. Lol.

Been very busy with work thus, the abandoned blog. Should be busy with my books now but I guess updating in here for a while wouldn't hurt.

So, minor updates on happenings within these few months.

Convocation day on 27022011.

Day trip to Penang with a few colleagues for makan spree. :)

And latest picture of us.
(Read latest: near to a month ago.)

Okay abrupt ending. Till then~

I'm A Smart Woman!

UK: Saturday (040910); 1455 hours.

This is a filler post.

I have two weeks left in Sheffield and currently, am in the midst of packing things to ship them back.

-_-

WAR IN MY ROOM.

*****

A Hush Puppies shoe box can not only fill in a pair of shoes. I will show you what else it can fill.

1. Take out the HP shoes and put in a pair of sandals.

2. Put another pair in on top of the first pair.

3. Fit three bottles of perfume in.

4. Stack the shoes on top of them all.

Ta-da!

Except that the boyfriend's left side of the shoe might smell like FCUK Her and the right side might smell like FCUK Connect Him. Hmm..

Outcome: A pair of Hush Puppies shoes, two pairs of sandals, FIVE bottles of perfume and some other small miscellaneous stuff i.e. earrings, key chain, magnet.

Fuiyoh, pandainya aku. *Pats self on back*

Toilet Tales

UK: Friday (230710); 1510 hours.

You know what's good in the UK?

Their toilets.

Well, I've never been to ALL the toilets in the UK. So far only toilets in Service Centres (or what you call the R&R back home) on the way to Cambridge and Stonehedge, a public toilet in Whitby and those in the University.

@ Service Centre otw to Cambridge.

PUBLIC TOILET @ Whitby.

@ Service Centre otw to Stonehedge.

Tell me the similarities in these pictures and differences from those back in Malaysia. TELL ME!

I'll continue writing this post again.

*****

I'll say again that I've never been to all toilets around the UK. But so far, I'm pretty satisfied with the toilets I'd used. Keep in mind that I'm commenting on PUBLIC toilets and not those in the University or cafes.

1. Shit loads of toilet paper provided. Now this is superbly awesome. Imagine you enter a toilet, to find out that there's NO TOILET PAPER provided and there's NONE in your handbag. Sucks to the max.

2. Dry floor. This is pretty good too. I respect the people here for being able to keep the floors dry. Dry = clean. Wet = eww.

3. Clean toilet seats. Makes you even more comfortable using the toilet. Though I'm not used to sitting on public toilet seats. Pardon me, but I've trained myself to pee pee without sitting directly on the toilet seat. And no, that doesn't mean climbing on the toilet seats and squatting on top.

Nowwwwwwwww, in contrast with Malaysia's toilets.

1. Needless to say. NO toilet papers. So if you need to do some "big business", make sure you have packets and packets of tissue paper.

2. Wet. What's worse is that when people step into the toilet, the soles of the shoes will obviously cause the puddle of water to turn brown/black. Sigh.

3. Referring to point two above, some people will tend to squat on sitting toilets. And cause the seats to be wet with dirty water as well. Urgh. Which is why I prefer squatting toilets. But that will mean people will rinse the floor, which turns back to point two - wet floor again.

Alamak. This toilet tale really hard to kau tim.

But it still doesn't point out the reason why Malaysia's public toilets cannot have shit loads of toilet paper ma! >:(

And pssst, if I manage to find dirty toilets in the UK I might post my rants in here. :p

Everybody Prays For A Different Reason

UK: Sunday (270610); 1420 hours.

I was in Cambridge for a day trip yesterday. I love going into churches here in the UK because I think they are very beautiful. Classic and lovely architectural structures.

This is The Great St. Mary's Church.

Got in and prayed for a while. Took some pictures. Walked around.

Read petitions by people: Pray for my family, pray for a peaceful world. Pray for my health. Etc.

And then..

...............

Lol?

P/S: I think the game is on right now, am I right? Do update me about the score to see whether the above petition is answered or not :p

Update:

England lost 1-4. Sorry guy/girl, petition unanswered. Hahahahaha.

Shoot Shoot Shoot!

My MSN personal message reads: "Hello somebody shoot me."

My Facebook status reads : "Anyone has a gun? I need to shoot myself."

Why am I such a pessimist? Read the previous post.

Anyway my point here is, I have such good friends they try to fulfill what I want by "BANG!!"-ing me over MSN and flooding my status with comments. (Okay I just checked there's 26 comments altogether)

But there's this guy friend who made such good effort I laughed so hard even though I just got out of bed and was feeling very blur.

Behold!

HAHAHAHAHAHA SO FUNNY CAN??

Thanks man, Rok Chin! Gave me a few minutes of laughter there. Lol.

Okay everyone I'm dead now.

Black Black Star

Second post of the day.

I came across an article and got to know Avril Lavigne recently launched her own range of perfumes.

The perfume packaging comes with a studded ring too. Cool.

I want!

I want DKNY's Be Delicious Fresh Blossom too. T.T

I want so many things in the world. Somebody please be kind and provide me.

The Most Expensive Lok-Lok Ever

Last Saturday, was in Krave for drinks. And later that night, Sincero. To cut things short, it was a boring night. Well, that's not what I'd wanted to blog about.

Halfway during Krave, Victor, Andrew and I went out since it was quite noisy.

Then, Andrew made way for the lok-lok lorry not far away from Krave and soon Victor and I found ourselves there too.

Both of them started eating and did arithmetical calculation as to how much the sticks had cost them. The lok-lok wasn't cheap, mind you.

Victor's last stick was the most expensive one that I had ever seen. RM 3 per stick.

And it looked something like this.

Err..

Victor chomping IT down!

Nom nom nom..

Okay. That's all.

Nothing much. I just wanted to show you guys the picture of the sausage. Heh.

And a picture from that night in Sincero.

Which Would You Pick?

Today, one of my seniors at work gave me a test, verbally.

He asked:

Imagine you are entering a jungle, with trees at both sides. As you walk, there is a wooden house in front of you.

When you enter the house, there is a table.

On the table, there are five types of different fruits.

I feel like eating all of them already. Looks so yummy.

Back to the question.

Which would you pick?

After some thinking, I picked the watermelon.

I shall not reveal the answer yet.

When I came back from work, I had the usual MSN session with the boyfriend. So, out of nowhere I decided to ask him the same thing that I was asked earlier today.

Since we were on the webcam, I could see his reaction towards my question. He definitely was thinking very hard to come up with the answer; but very quickly provided an answer.

"Watermelon gua. The rest also don't really eat. So what's the conclusion? I know there's some meaning one."

Ironically, we picked the same fruit.

Anyway, what's the conclusion, you wonder?

We'd both picked watermelon. So the conclusion is.. we both are persons who like to eat watermelon.

So if you'd picked banana, the conclusion is: you like to eat banana.

HAHAHAHAHA.

Lame, I know. But it made my day. I'd done some really hard laughing with him today. =D

Loves.
